Between March and June 1938, the Republican 43rd Division resisted the Francoist advance for weeks in the Pyrenean valleys of Sobrarbe. Their heroic stand turned the Bielsa Pocket into one of the most emblematic episodes of the Spanish Civil War, but also into a tragedy marked by destruction, exile and the suffering of the civilian population.
A documentary produced by Bastian Films in co-production with Dedía Producciones, with the participation of Aragón TV and the collaboration of the Government of Aragón and Zaragoza City Council.
Premiered at the Saraqusta Film Festival.
