Pep died at the age of four months, unable to recover from the final, life-threatening heart surgery. During the time his son was in the ICU, Ignasi recalled the death of his brother and the devastating blow it was to his mother. In that situation, Ignasi feared that his wife, Ágata, would suffer the same fate his mother had endured. Seven years later, Ignasi embarks on an emotional journey to remember and understand what happened.
A documentary blending live-action footage with animation. Premiered at Docs Barcelona, where it won the Audience Award and a Special Mention from the Jury. It has since won awards at the Santa Fe de Colombia, Tàrrega, and Barcelona film festivals, as well as at the Cygnus Awards in Alcalá. A co-production with Mexico through Tilma Films, the film features the participation of TV3 and is supported by ICEC and EFICINE.
